What makes us individuals?
Are we truly individuals?
What is the definition of an individual?
If you took more than 2 seconds to think about it, think about this.
What is it that we are truly defines us as an individual?
There are many things that define us. Yet we are complacent enough to call ourselves individuals.
1.The friends we hold dear define us.
2.The mate we have defines us.
3.The car we drive defines us.
4.The job we have defines us.
5.The clothing we wear defines us.
6.The clubs we attend defines us.
7.The decisions we make define us.
8.The parents we have define us.
Think back and see if you can remember coming to any decisions in your life without consulting someone else. Asking for an opinion if you will.
Therefore by definition, no one person is truly an individual. We are all part of a bigger picture on this blue sphere. Unless you are a hermit, then I would applaud your individuality.
We tend to draw from the good and the bad in life in order trick ourselves into believing that we have made these individual decisions wisely. But the truth of the matter is you were taught the difference long ago. Probably back in Kindergarten while holding hands, standing in line to get your chocolate milk.
You may not have liked chocolate milk. You may not have liked holding hands, but conform we did, but you didn’t want to stand out did you?
Was it your individuality that was put to the test? Denied? Yes. Those were decisions that had to be made for us in order to comply with some standard that another individual has set into motion. To teach us how to interact with others.
So what really sets YOU apart from others? What decisions have YOU made today that will only benefit YOU, and not rely on the decisions of others?
Give up? None!
Even as individuals we have to rely on other individuals.
1.Their willingness to help.
2.Their willingness to listen.
3.Their willingness to be open to your suggestions.
4.Their willingness to suggest.
5.Their willingness to be apart of your life.
So what kind of individual are you going to be today?
Before you answer think about this..
An associate is part of a group.
To feel like and individual it only takes one, but how would you know without one individual friend.
A group of individual friends. Nice sentiment, don’t you think?

Thought About It? So What About DAT?
U think 2 much
What did you have for breakfast
that sent you into this groovy funk?
Was it the Froot Loops?
Or
Was it the Bran Flakes?
Is this the result of a ponderfication
as you sat upon the throne?
Which is simply a foundation
for your argument.
Because you would not have
even been able to ponder this truth in comfort
If it had not been for somebody
else willing to invent the "water closet" (John Crapper)
Willing to build mass quantities
of "water closets" and finally; Willing to install the "water closet" in
close proximity to your emergency.
So I must agree with your
thoughts for this day.
No man is an island
Except Tom Hanks
But even he was not an island
- he was stuck on an island
Well actually he wasn't stuck,
he could still move around - he just couldn't get off.
Well actually, over the course
of 4 years alone on an island - he probably got off a few times. (Boredom,
coconut oil and a volleyball can make for some pretty interesting evenings)
WILSON!
But even after all of this,
we would not have been able to witness the chronicles of this man's life
on an island for four years if somebody else had not been there to capture
his isolation on film.
Which slams the original ponderfication back in our faces.
Are you an individual.
I don't know, let me ask a few people and I'll get back with you on that.
Co-dependently yours,
Yo-dadi
