What is Dis?

The reason men refer to their cars as women and visa versa.

Men for year have referred to their cars as if the car was a living, breathing thing. "Yeah I had to pump old Betsy 3 or 4 times before she would get going this morning"

This kind of statement has been around for years. Men have uttered things of this nature not know the true meaning behind them. Sex, pure and simple.

Men tend to be simple creatures and sex rules their existence. There are only three things that men live for. Money wheels and of course SEX. So why shouldn't men use a double meaning when referring to their cars? I'm not sure, I just have a nasty mind, and would like to share these thoughts. OK?

For instance, why is the cover that can be bought and put on the front of a car called a ‘bra’? It's not like it will keep your front end from sagging once the age of your 'car' gets up there.

What about the rear. What if it goes? Well you could rebuild it, but the ride will never be the same will it?

Oh and let’s not talk about if you have a cracked dash, or your 'cars' grill is busted. With a little help you can have these things repaired or replaced but you will know that your car is running on replacement parts.

A wise man once asked me, "Why buy when you can lease?" Ok maybe it was not a wise man but a sales man. But you have got to admit that there is a lot of truth in the statement. That is if you are willing to open your mind to figure out why men love their cars and why they love women just the same. I think it has something to do with the way men think about their cars.

             1) Leasing instead of buying - Simple. If you buy it is yours forever. If you lease you can give it back to the man and get a newer, faster better model. Try to get rid of your car after you have used it for a while. You have way to many miles on it. Everyone wants to test drive it before they buy it. You have to try and cover up all the problems with it. You will even try to make it sound like you really don't want to get rid of it, but you know you have to or she will break down on you eventually.

             2) There is nothing like having the top down in your car

             3) You can find out nothing about your car buy kicking the tires

             4) After riding in your car it is a good idea to have it cleaned

             5) It is a good idea to let your car warm up before revving the engine

             6) Care should be taken when climbing into your car

             7) Keep your car chassis lubed at all times, help keeps the ride smooth

             8) Never let another man fill your car up

             9) American cars are just as good as some foreign, just keep up with the maintenance

             10) Only let a certified mechanic check under the hood

             11) If battery is low jump your car off with care

             12) Never leave your car running unattended

             13) Pay close attention to the gauges, you would not want to over heat

             14) Never be in a hurry to get where you are going

             15) If you take care of your car it will take car of you

So remember these few steps in car care and remember, you can be a one car family if you try hard, and never use your dipstick to check your buddies oil level.

Just Some More of Dat

One day my uncle sat down and talked to me.
He said, “Son, a relationship is like a car. One day you're going to want your own. There's nothing wrong with that but you need to know what kind of vehicles are out there. You're going to do a little test-driving before you decide exactly what you want to park in your garage.
You also need to understand that each man likes to drive a different kind of car. Some men like small fast cars and others like a nice big comfortable car. You need to decide what is right for you and don't be ashamed of what you drive.
Now you also need to understand that some cars, for whatever reason, end up becoming rental's or taxis. That means you have to pay to ride in them. There is not much difference. You'll find that taxis are cheaper but they work independently and you can never really be sure who the last passenger was.
Rentals are a little more expensive but they are cleaner. You pay the man who owns the rental lot and he'll let you drive one of his cars for a little while. As long as you bring it back clean you can do business with him just about any time you want.
Be aware that just because you liked a particular car, that doesn't mean that it will be available next time you rent. These vehicles have a high turnover. They accumulate miles much faster than personal cars. Some rentals go on to become personal cars. If you pay the lot owner enough, he'll let you keep the car.
Men who buy rentals normally do it because the car that they did have doesn't run anymore and they need something quick. They don't want to go through the hassle of getting a car the regular way.
Along the lines of paying to ride or drive you also have limousines. It sounds really fancy, but when you break it down, a limo is nothing but a high priced taxi. If you have to pay, go with a rental.
I almost forgot you also have city busses and subways. This is public transportation. There is no discrimination here. Anybody with fifty cents can ride. A lot of people argue that it's good for the environment and economy, but there is something that is not natural about fifty people riding the same vehicle at once.
You may find, as you grow older that you are a racing fan. These are guys who pay money to watch other men drive. I guess it's okay. I'm just not into it myself.”

I think he had more to say but he kind of trailed off and passed out.
